Ordering as a company or research institution - how it works
How to order research materials in the name of a company or academic body: tax ID, invoice, batch documentation and the question of withdrawal rights on professional purchases.
Research-grade materials are bought primarily by laboratories, academic bodies and companies conducting research and development. That is why ordering in a company's name is the default route in our shop.
What you need
- The name of the buyer - the company, institute or organisational unit.
- A tax identification number (NIP) or an EU VAT number for entities outside Poland.
- A billing address, if it differs from the delivery address.
Invoice
We issue the invoice to the details you provide once the order is placed. The seller benefits from a subject-based VAT exemption, so the document contains no VAT - the prices shown are final.
Documentation for project accounting
A certificate of analysis is included with every batch. In grant-funded work it is sometimes required as part of the purchase documentation for a reagent - it is worth archiving it together with the invoice and the batch number.
Right of withdrawal on business purchases
A purchase made by a business in direct connection with its activity and of a professional character is not covered by the consumer right of withdrawal. A sole trader retains that right where the purchase is not of a professional character for them. In either case, sealed vials cannot be returned once the seal is broken.
Note
We supply these materials for laboratory research use only (RUO) - not for consumption by humans or animals and not for clinical applications. They are not a medicine, a medicinal product or a dietary supplement.
