Customer - a natural person with full legal capacity who is at least 21 years old (a requirement of the Seller arising from the research nature of the Products), a legal person or an organisational unit placing an Order.
Consumer - a Customer who is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
Product - a material intended solely for laboratory research (Research Use Only, RUO) offered in the Store.
Order - the Customer's declaration of intent aimed at concluding a sales contract.
2. Nature of the Products - key information
All Products offered in the Store are materials intended solely for laboratory and experimental research carried out by persons with appropriate knowledge and facilities.
The Products are NOT medicinal products, medical devices, dietary supplements, cosmetics or foodstuffs. They have not been authorised for use in humans or animals.
The Products are not intended for ingestion, injection, inhalation or any other use in humans or animals, nor for diagnostic or clinical purposes.
The Seller does not provide information on dosage, preparation of solutions for administration or use of the Products in humans or animals, and makes no claims as to therapeutic, preventive or health properties of the Products.
The Customer is solely responsible for lawful and safe use of the purchased Products, including compliance with the law of the country of destination.
The Products are labelled as material intended solely for laboratory research (RUO) and marked with a batch number (LOT). The Customer undertakes not to remove, obscure or alter the Product labelling, in particular the information on its research purpose and the batch number.
The Seller provides a certificate of analysis (COA) for every batch. Information on safe handling of the Product, including a safety data sheet where one is required for the material in question, is provided by the Seller free of charge at the Customer's request.
Products must be stored and handled in accordance with the conditions stated on the packaging and on the Product page. The Seller is not liable for the consequences of storing a Product contrary to those conditions.
3. Customer declaration
The Products offered in the Store are chemical reagents intended solely for scientific research, in vitro laboratory work and analytical testing. Their use in in vivo studies is prohibited, as is their administration to humans or animals.
By placing an Order, the Customer declares that: they are at least 21 years old; they have adequate knowledge and facilities to handle chemical reagents safely; they purchase the Products solely for the purposes described in the preceding point; they are aware of the chemical nature of the Products and acknowledge that they are not a drug, medicinal product, dietary supplement or foodstuff; they will not use the Products in humans or animals (including consumption, injection or inhalation), nor resell them for such purposes; they have read and accept these Terms.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse to process an Order, and - where an Order has already been accepted for processing - to withdraw from the sales contract with immediate effect, where there is reasonable suspicion that the Products are to be used contrary to their intended purpose or to the law, in particular for administration to humans or animals. The Seller informs the Customer of such withdrawal without undue delay and refunds any payments received within 14 days.
4. Placing an Order and conclusion of contract
Orders may be placed via the Store website, 24 hours a day.
Prices are given in Polish zloty and are final. The Seller benefits from the VAT exemption under Article 113(1) of the Polish VAT Act, so no VAT is added to the prices. The binding price is the one shown in the Order summary at the time the Order is placed.
An Order may be placed as a business (entrepreneur, laboratory, research institution) - the Customer then provides the buyer's name, tax identification number (NIP or EU VAT number) and invoice address, and the Seller issues an invoice without VAT for those details. Business orders are the preferred form of sale, given the strictly research purpose of the Products.
After placing an Order the Customer receives an order code. Where prepayment is chosen, the Customer is redirected to online payment; where cash on delivery is chosen, the Order proceeds without prepayment. The sales contract is concluded when the Seller confirms acceptance of the Order for processing.
Information about Products in the Store constitutes an invitation to conclude a contract within the meaning of Art. 71 of the Polish Civil Code.
5. Payments
Online payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Technology Europe, Ltd., based in Dublin, Ireland). Available channels are BLIK and payment card. The current list of channels is shown on the payment screen before the Order is placed.
The Customer chooses the form of payment before placing the Order: online prepayment or cash on delivery. Where prepayment is chosen, the Order is processed after the payment has been received and confirmed by the payment operator.
Cash on delivery means paying the Order amount to the carrier (InPost) when collecting the parcel - at a parcel locker or to the courier. The Seller charges no additional fee for this.
Cash on delivery is available for Orders up to PLN 1,000, for delivery within the territory of Poland only, and only for Products available in stock. Products with a later dispatch date (pre-order) require prepayment. Whether this form of payment is available for a given Order is shown in the Order summary before the Order is placed.
If an Order with prepayment is not paid within 7 days of being placed, the Seller may cancel it.
6. Delivery
Delivery is made within the territory of Poland only, via InPost - to a parcel locker chosen by the Customer or by courier to the address indicated by the Customer. The Seller does not currently ship outside the territory of Poland.
Orders with prepayment are dispatched after payment confirmation, Orders with cash on delivery after acceptance for processing; usually within 1–2 business days.
If a later dispatch date is indicated for a given Product (e.g. when the Product is on its way to the warehouse), the date indicated for that Product prevails. It is shown on the Product page and in the Order summary before the Order is placed, as well as in the Order confirmation.
An Order covering several Products with different dispatch dates is shipped in full, in a single parcel, on the latest of those dates. Where the Store offers this option, the Customer may choose, before placing the Order, to split it into two parcels - Products available immediately and the remainder at a later date. Splitting does not increase the delivery cost.
Delivery within Poland costs 15 PLN. For Orders with Products worth 100 PLN or more, delivery is FREE. Choosing cash on delivery does not increase the delivery cost.
The estimated delivery time is shown in the Order summary.
Products are shipped in protective packaging without markings indicating the contents.
7. Right of withdrawal (Consumer)
A Consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of taking possession of the Product by making an appropriate statement.
The withdrawal statement may be submitted electronically - using the withdrawal form available in the Store - or in any other unambiguous form. The Seller promptly confirms receipt of the statement.
The Product must be returned promptly and no later than 14 days from withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the Product is borne by the Consumer.
The Seller refunds payments received promptly and no later than 14 days from receipt of the statement, and may withhold the refund until the Product is received or proof of its dispatch is provided.
The refund is made using the same means of payment as used by the Consumer, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed to a different method of refund that involves no cost to them. For an Order paid by cash on delivery, the refund is made by bank transfer to an account indicated by the Consumer. Providing an account number in the withdrawal statement constitutes the Consumer's agreement to this method of refund; it involves no cost to the Consumer.
The refund also covers the delivery cost paid by the Consumer. If the Consumer chose a delivery method other than the cheapest ordinary method offered by the Seller, the Seller does not refund the additional costs incurred (Article 33 of the Consumer Rights Act).
IMPORTANT EXCEPTION: pursuant to Art. 38(5) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to a Product delivered in sealed packaging which cannot be returned after opening for health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging was opened after delivery. This applies in particular to vials of research material and laboratory-grade water - once the seal is broken (tamper seal removed, stopper punctured) a return is not possible.
The above exception does not limit the right of withdrawal for Products whose sealed packaging has not been opened.
BUSINESS ORDERS: the right of withdrawal described in this section applies to a Consumer and to a natural person running a business where the purchase is not of a professional character for them (Art. 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). A purchase made by an entrepreneur in direct connection with their business and of a professional character is not covered by this right.
8. Complaints (lack of conformity)
The Seller is liable to the Consumer for lack of conformity of the Product with the contract under the Polish Consumer Rights Act, for a period of 2 years from delivery.
Complaints may be submitted to [email protected], quoting the order code and describing the non-conformity.
The Seller examines the complaint within 14 days of receipt and informs the Customer of the outcome.
If the complaint is upheld, the Consumer may request repair or replacement of the Product and, where these are impossible or excessively costly, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.
Complaints regarding the analytical quality of a Product are assessed against the certificate of analysis (COA) for the relevant batch.
9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
A Consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms, including mediation at the regional inspectorates of the Trade Inspection and assistance from district (municipal) consumer ombudsmen.
Detailed information is available from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl).
Use of these procedures is voluntary and requires the consent of both parties.
10. Liability
The Seller is liable for conformity of the Product with its description, including the declared identity and purity confirmed by the batch certificate of analysis.
The Seller is not liable for damage resulting from use of the Products contrary to their intended purpose, in particular from their use in humans or animals.
This section does not exclude or limit the Seller's statutory liability towards Consumers.
11. Personal data
The rules of personal data processing are described in the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy.
Address and contact details provided with an Order are encrypted in the Seller's database.
12. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
The Seller may amend these Terms for important reasons (changes in law, scope of services, payment or delivery methods). Orders placed before an amendment are processed under the Terms in force at the time of ordering.
These Terms do not exclude or limit Consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law; in the event of conflict, those provisions prevail.
These Terms are effective from 26.08.2026.
