Cookie Policy

We explain what cookies we use at Peptylab.pl, what they do and how you can manage your consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use similar technologies, such as localStorage, to remember your cart and choices.
2. Necessary cookies (no consent required)
These are required for the store to work and do not require consent. They include: cart contents (localStorage), your cookie decision, language choice and security mechanisms.
Disabling them prevents proper use of the store.
3. Analytics cookies (consent required)
They help us understand how you use the store - e.g. visit statistics and most viewed products. We set them only after you give consent.
In this category we use Google Analytics 4, deployed via Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited).
If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set.
4. Marketing cookies (consent required)
Used to personalise marketing messages and measure their effectiveness. We set them only after you give consent.
In this category we use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). Without your consent the Meta script is not loaded at all, and once you withdraw it we stop sending events. Meta then receives information about your activity in the store (page views, products viewed, add-to-cart, checkout started) together with your IP address and cookie identifier.
If you give marketing consent when placing an order, we also report the order itself to Meta (amount, currency, order number and the products ordered). It is sent by our server rather than your browser - the Meta Conversions API. This happens at two points: when you place the order, i.e. proceed to payment, and - once the payment is booked - for the purchase itself. The event carries data used by Meta solely to match it to an ad you were shown: your e-mail address, phone number and name as an irreversible hash (SHA-256, never in the clear), plus the destination country, Meta cookie identifiers, IP address and browser type recorded when you placed the order. Without marketing consent we send nothing about your order and do not store that data.
Both providers may transfer data to the United States - see section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
5. Managing your consent
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential ones, or choose individual categories in settings.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time by clicking “Cookies” in the page footer.
You can also manage and delete cookies in your browser settings.
6. Consent retention
Your consent decision is stored locally in your browser together with the date it was given. We will ask again if the scope of cookies we use changes.
